    Some of these operations may seem obvious, but you'd be surprised at the number of \u00abdead\u00bb Macs you get in the workshop that restart after a simple keystroke. Test each solution in order.<\/p>\n\n

    1. Check the charger and cable<\/h3>\n

    It is the most frequently underestimated cause when a Mac won't turn on<\/strong>. Try a other charger<\/strong> if possible (borrow one from a friend or family member or test it in an Apple Retail Store). On USB-C models, inspect the port: compacted dust can prevent contact. A wooden toothpick (never a metal one) can often be used to remove any residue.<\/p>\n\n
