Our guarantees
At MAC repair, We believe in the quality of our work. This page details the guarantees that cover our repairs and parts, as well as the vital procedures concerning appliances entrusted to our workshop.
Standard warranty (new parts & labour)
All new spare parts (components and materials) and work (labour) supplied by us are covered for 6 months from the date of purchase, acceptance or repair of your appliance.
This guarantee covers defects in conformity and hidden faults existing at the time of delivery of your repaired appliance.
Guarantee for used or reconditioned parts
The second-hand or reconditioned spare parts we install are covered for 3 months from the date of receipt or purchase.
Important exclusions from the guarantee
It is crucial to understand what the guarantee does not cover :
- Subsequent physical damage : the guarantee does not cover NOT physical damage (such as a broken screen or dented casing) or water/oxidation damage caused after the initial repair by us.
- Misuse or normal wear and tear: defects or damage due to misuse, negligence, dropping, impact or normal wear and tear are not covered.
- External repairs : any repair or attempted repair of the appliance by technicians or services not authorised by the manufacturer. MAC repair will result in immediate cancellation of the guarantee.
If you notice a potentially covered problem :
- Contact us quickly: In the event of non-conformity noted within 2 months of delivery, you must inform us as soon as possible by e-mail to info@reparationmac.be.
- Please present your receipt: the original invoice or the delivery note is your warranty certificate. You must keep it and present it (original or clear copy) for any claim.
- Please bring the appliance : After contacting us, bring the appliance to our workshop for diagnosis.
Workshop rules: dropping off and collecting equipment
For any appliance entrusted to our workshop, whether for an estimate or a repair, the following rules apply:
- Shelf life : the equipment will be kept free of charge in our workshop for a maximum of 3 months from the date of receipt.
- Mandatory recovery : it is the customer's responsibility to recover their equipment within this 3-month period, whether they choose to proceed with the repair or not.
- More than 3 months : after this period, if the appliance has not been claimed, Réparation MAC reserves the right to dispose of them (destruction, recovery for spare parts), without the customer being able to claim any compensation whatsoever.
- Data backup : we accept no responsibility for any loss of data. It is strongly recommended, and your responsibility, to back up all your data before entrusting your device to us.
