It's not necessarily the panel. A black screen with start-up sound may indicate a fault with the video layer, backlighting or the graphics card integrated into the motherboard. Our free diagnostic service identifies the exact cause of the problem before any work is carried out, to avoid having to replace a part that is still working.
If the panel has cracks, persistent stains or faulty backlighting, complete replacement is the only lasting solution. On the other hand, a minor problem with the panel or a connector can sometimes be resolved without changing the whole screen. That's why it's important to carry out a precise diagnosis beforehand.
