The MacBook Pro Unibody (2008-2012), iMac (2009-2020), Mac mini Intel (2010-2018) and Mac Pro accept the addition of RAM. However, the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro Retina (2012+) and all Apple Silicon models (M1 to M4) have the RAM soldered to the logic board and cannot be upgraded.
